With over 15 years of real estate, private equity and investment experience, Doug brings a wealth of knowledge to Shoreham Capital across sourcing, capitalizing, structuring, and executing transactions. Doug has overseen the investment in over $10bn of real estate investments and developments across multiple asset classes. He has successfully executed the investment, development, and management of more than 7,500 residential units across prime growth markets. Prior to Shoreham, Doug was most recently a Managing Director at the CIM Group, a $35.0bn AUM real estate private equity firm, where he oversaw the East Coast equity investments for the firm. Before CIM, Doug worked in corporate private equity for LNK Partners and began his career at Deutsche Bank in their Mergers and Acquisitions Group. Doug has a BA from Brown University with a double concentration in International Relations and Economics and received his MBA from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
Nick Zoumas is a seasoned home builder with a background in real estate construction and development. With over 20 years of experience, Nick’s expertise spans mixed-use, retail, multifamily, and single-family projects across markets in the Northeast, Southeast, and Southwest. He brings to Shoreham Capital two decades of direct construction experience as the founder and owner of a $100mm annual construction business, JNS Homes. He has developed and built over $1.25bn in single-family homes across New York and Florida at both the luxury and production-level sectors. He is a fully licensed General Contractor in the states of New York and Florida. Nick is a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), the Greater Orlando Builders Association (GOBA), and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
Over the past 15 years, Steve has acquired, developed, leased, managed, and executed on over $5.0bn in residential and mixed-use real estate assets on the East Coast. Prior to Shoreham Capital, Steve was a Managing Director at Slate Property Group, a New York-based multifamily developer, operator, and owner, where he oversaw the growth of the firm from inception. In addition, he successfully implemented various value-add and development strategies and managed over 3,500 residential units. Steve has a BSBA from the Boston College Carroll School of Management. He is actively involved in several real estate-related organizations including the Urban Land Institute (ULI), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), and the Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP).
